This class provides the student with the basic knowledge, skills and attitude to operate and maintain an Ar-15 and its variants safely

Pathfinders Basic AR-15 Class 
​

 1. Purpose: This class is designed to provide the student with the basic knowledge, skills and attitude to own and safely operate an AR-15. 

 2. Items required for the class:
 
  1. Operational AR-15 with sights
  2. One magazine
  3. 50 rounds of ammunition
  4. Eye and ear protection
  5. Manual for your variant of the AR-15
 
3. Training (9am-11am)
 
      a.  Classroom         
          i.AR-15 familiarization
         ii.Weapon characteristics
         iii.Ammunition characteristics
         iv.Disassembly
         v.Assembly
         vi.Maintenance
         vii.Mechanical zero
 
      b. Lunch (11am-12 noon)
 
      c. Range (12 noon – 3pm)
          i.25-meter live fire zeroing of the weapon (9-18 rounds)
         ii.25-meter live fire military alternate qualification course of fire (40 rounds)
